At present time, EcoTech Visions has assisted more than 75 businesses to develop their idea, access product development support, and light manufacturing, and to learn more about marketing, networking and growing their green economy company.
Many people do not know that the driving force behind this one of a kind business incubator and makerspace is one person. That person is Pandwe Gibson, a true pioneer in the area of bringing a green economy and production focus to Miami and the surrounding areas.
The Early Stages
EcoTech Visions has always been at the heart of all that Pandwe Gibson has done in the Miami area. Prior to moving here, she was focused on also breaking into new areas by co-founding a Charter Management Organization for schools in Louisiana, which was the first of its kind in the southern part of the United States.
With a Ph.D., M.Ed, M.A as well as international studies, teaching and work experienced, Pandwe Gibson has found her niche in working with and supporting green entrepreneurs throughout the area. As with any entrepreneurial endeavor, the EcoTech Visions dream has evolved over time and has finally reached the stage where it has a significant impact on the community and the city.
Moving into the new location, which offers 26,000 square feet of space, a vertical garden, and a prototyping lab and light manufacturing space, small businesses have access to exceptional resources and support needed to launch a new green product or grow their existing business.
Now providing working office space, training, business coaching, as well as the technology, meeting rooms and specialized services needed to start and grow a business, EcoTech Visions continues to expand on their message of spreading environmentally-friendly products, production methods, and services.
